A Taste Of Home, 2023
Spraypaint on cardboard.
This is the first of a bunch of new artworks I have been wanting to make. I’ve taken slogans from a range of different products and removed any association with the product itself, using colours and simple typefaces to let the slogan exist in its own right. For the Nikau Superette I’ve used text from one of the main dairy suppliers in the country and presented it back within the confines of the disused community notice board.
